Harvest Wananga
Date/Time
Date(s) - 29 September 2017 - 30 September 2017
Time: 6:00 pm - 3:30 pm
This will be our fourth wananga for 2017 as we explore ways that we can grow in our ability to share the good news of Jesus Christ in ways that are culturally appropriate to Maori. The Gospel is good news to every people group and we have a special responsibility to the indigenous people of Aotearoa. Guest Speaker Pastor Simon Moetara from Vision College and Activate Church Hamilton is a gifted teacher and will be ministering on the topic of Hauora. Come and join us for a great weekend! The wananga starts with a powhiri at 6pm on the Friday and finishes Saturday afternoon. People are welcome to come when they are able and to stay as long as fits for them. Participants have the option of staying on site at our Te Korowai O Te Atua wharenui or to make their own arrangements off site. Early registrations are only $10 per person, with an offering received for guest speakers.
